Run it on your own box. Your keys, your data.

Free to run — you bring the hardware and your own AI subscription. Nothing metered, nothing leaves your machine.

Polymux

Available now

Run and steer your coding-agent sessions. Open source.

  • In-browser terminal for Claude Code & Codex
  • Sessions run in tmux, so they survive closed tabs and restarts
  • An MCP endpoint, so Friday can search and drive sessions
  • One Docker command runs it on your own machine
git clone https://github.com/cyberneel/polymux && cd polymux && docker compose up -d

Friday + indrajaal

Coming soon

The full assistant as a free app for your box. Run it, don't build it.

  • Chat, tasks, calendars, in-app voice
  • Your own Claude / ChatGPT / Google login
  • A single app to run, with no source to build
  • Push & phone calls need the relay add-on, also coming soon

What self-hosting can access

Self-hosting runs on your own machine with the access you grant it. With Docker it sees only the one project folder you point it at; run it directly and it can reach whatever folders you allow — your whole Documents and every repo in it, if you like. More access, more power, less separation. See the full trade-offs in the Handbook

Bring your own browserAdvanced

Friday drives a built-in Chromium for its web work — reading sites, in-app sign-in, and click/type/forms. Self-hosting, you can point it at your own browser for more resources or to reuse a logged-in profile.

Tailnet / VPN only. Opening the browser's debug port to 0.0.0.0 gives full, unauthenticated control of it — never expose it on a public IP.
chromium --remote-debugging-port=9222 --remote-debugging-address=0.0.0.0 --user-data-dir=~/friday-browser

Then in Friday: Settings → Browser → Link your own browser (CDP URL). It reroutes the whole browser integration; clear it to fall back to the built-in. Full setup and caveats in the Handbook
